Hi Everyone,

So I’ve been mulling over whether I should make a switch from a WordPress.com blog to a WordPress.org blog.  I’ve been reading a lot more about the customizability of  a WordPress.org blog and I think it might be the way to go, especially for someone like me who wants to be able to have adsense ads on my site.  I didn’t realize that you couldn’t do that with a WordPress.com blog.

What are your thoughts on the matter?  Do you think I should make the switch to a WordPress.org blog?  Do you have any recommendations on a good theme that is adsense enabled that I can use?  Would love to hear your thoughts and opinions.  Just click on the “Leave a Comment” link below.

Just thought I’d take a minute to post the second article that I wrote for the Ezine Articles website.  

As someone who follows the world of affiliate marketing I know that having a website to promote your affiliate links is a powerful way to make a lot of money.  But if you’re someone who’s just starting out in this business and you have no money to afford a domain name and web hosting, or you just have no skills to create a website in the first place, then how can you promote your affiliate links without a website?  Well, I’m glad you asked.

Hi Everyone,

Here’s an excerpt for the first article I posted on the Ezine Articles website.  I was really excited when it was published online, but now that I read the article again I can see where it could be so much better.  Well, according to Ezine Articles I’m now an Expert Author, so that’s pretty cool.

Hi everyone,

So on one of the sites that I visit regularly (more on that on a future post) I was told that writing articles for free ezine directories was a good way to make money on the internet.  So that’s what I’ve started to do. 

I’ve written 8 articles so far, mostly on the subject of affiliate marketing, as that seems to be the area I’ve studied the most so far, and it looks like I’ve been getting some pretty good views.  I’ve had just over 130 views of my articles.  No sales yet, but I’m hoping that the more I get my name out there, the better my chances will be.

I’m going to put some excerpts of my articles in a new category on the right that I’ve cleverly named, “New Articles”.  The reason I’m only putting excerpts and not the full article is because I was told that you shouldn’t post your article on your own website as the search engines will view that as duplicate content.  So I’ll put a little excerpt and a link to the full article on the Ezine Articles website.

Please feel free to read my articles and let me know what you think.  Again, any advice you give would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the The Fresh Blog!  My name is Len Frechette, but my friends call me Fresh.  I’ll be using this blog to talk about my journey into the world of Internet Marketing.

I’ve been researching the field of internet marketing for quite some time now, but I’ve never actually tried to implement anything I’ve learned.  Well that’s about to change.  I’m going to use this blog to talk about my trials and tribulations as I attempt to make money on the internet.

My goal on this journey is not only to educate myself on internet marketing but to help those who might be thinking of going down the same path.  My hope is that we can all learn from both my accomplishments and my mistakes.  Hopefully there won’t be that many mistakes. 

I also think that we can help each other on this journey.  If you’re new to this field and you’re learning some valuable lessons that you’d like to pass along, or if you’re a seasoned veteran and you’d like to impart with some of your wisdom, then please feel free to leave comments.  Your adivce won’t just be helping me but others as well.
